What is Wellness?
Current views of health and illness recognize health as more than the absence of disease. We realize that humans are dynamic beings whose state of health can change from day to day, or even from hour to hour.

Leaders in the health field suggest that it is better to think of each person as being located on a graduated scale or continuous spectrum (continuum), ranging from obvious dire illness through the absence of discernible disease to a state of optimal functioning in every aspect of one's life.
These experts say high-level wellness is a dynamic process in which the individual is actively engaged in moving toward fulfillment of his or her potential.
How do I Start on the Road to Wellness?

1. Create a “Big Picture” context for Living Well Essentials by forming a kind of visioning board or 'map' to actualize these in your life.
2. Build Good Habits. We are what we repeatedly do; habits represent 80% of all we do.
Breathing, exercising, loving, nourishing, adapting, eliminating, and resting are all essential habits. Choose one or more to focus upon, and start the process with small, easy steps such as such as one push up per day.
Record your daily successes using an app like Chains.cc, or Dr. Jordan's Wellness Essentials weekly tracking sheet.
3. Enjoy and celebrate your accomplishments! Continue expanding and building resilience to become Healthy, Happy & Strong!
